Decorative churches

God gave me this picture. It was of a lion in a cage. The cage was made of layers of glass panels. Decorative glass. The bars were not of iron, but of paper. The lion was not aggressive, but was lying peacefully, waiting.

I believe this is what it means.

The Lion is the Lion of Judah, the Almighty God. He is waiting patiently. The glass cage is the church. They have limited the power of God with their window dressing (decorative glass) and their programmes (paper bars). They are for entertainment and not for preaching the Truth. They “have a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” (2Tim3:5)

God is merciful and has been waiting patiently for the church to turn back to Him and not grieve the Holy Spirit. The spirit of religion has made the church of no effect.

I was despondent, as it looked hopeless. But GOD!

The Lion of Judah will rise with a mighty roar. And this thunderous sound will bring the glass houses crashing down. God has been warning His leaders and churches. If they do not seek His plans and His guidance, but go back to their old ways, He will bring their whole church down. He has this against them. The world is in turmoil because the church has conformed to the world and did not renew their minds and the minds of the sheep to His Word. The Light of God is camouflaged and decorated to fit the narrative of the world. This is an abomination to God and He will deal with it at the appointed time.

Woe to those who limit the Word and Power of God, who grieve the Holy Spirit and follow their own man-made plans and programmes. There is an urgency for the church to get back to God, to get back to their first love and seek Him with all their hearts. Do not test God in this.
